Inchgarth community centre's management board invite anyone to arrange a tour of our excellent facilities, to see any report, file, receipt, annual account, monthly accounts, annual report, funding applications, minutes of our meetings, agendas, plans for this financial year or those from April 1st 1996. Indeed any letter, record, statistic, bank statement, cheque book stub or access to any file on record both electronically stored or on hard copy. We would be delighted to arrange this for anyone.
Furthermore, copies of our annual accounts, which are prepared by a professional accountancy firm are available, which are verified as accurate at AGM's which are attended by between 350-500 people each year. These AGM's are supervised by Aberdeen city council officers.
We are willing to open our committee meetings to any member of the public who may wish to attend to ask our entire management board any question they so wish.

Until recently there was two types of community centre in the city, one was called community learning and the other, like Inchgarth and 26 others, was described as being a leased centres.
Now, all over Aberdeen due to the financial cutbacks, all centres will be leased and the ex cld centres are in a period of transition.
What are your views on the management committees and volunteers of the ex cld centres in relation to how they can best be supported to move forward positively so they can succeed in creating vibrant and successful centres.

Give us your feedback on the recent Aberdeen International youth festival show held at Inchgarth.
From a centre point of view we felt the show was a tremendous success and highlighted the positive and excellent efforts of Garthdee people to create a fully inclusive centre that is willing to try new things to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together. The show was a great advert to all that is positive about young people who showcased their amazing talents.
